Ingredients:

For the main mixture:
  • 200 grams of dark chocolate
  • 150 grams of butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla powder
  • A pinch of salt

  • 1 measured cup of flour (about 120 grams)
  • 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder

  • 1/2 cup of walnuts or hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips

Preparation Steps:

1. Melting the Chocolate and Butter

Place the butter in a saucepan and melt it over low heat. Add the chopped dark chocolate into the melted butter and stir until the mixture becomes smooth. Let it cool to room temperature.

2. Beating the Eggs and Sugar

In a large mixing bowl, combine the eggs and sugar. Beat with a mixer on high speed for 3-4 minutes until the mixture becomes fluffy and lighter in color.

3. Adding the Chocolate Mixture

Slowly pour the cooled chocolate and butter mixture into the egg mixture. Gently fold with a spatula until fully combined and smooth.

4. Adding the Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry mixture into the chocolate mixture. Fold gently with a spatula until combined. If desired, add in the walnuts, hazelnuts, or chocolate chips at this stage.

5. Pouring into the Pan
